“Make a poster. But make it 4”

Folgendes Plakat war eine Übung für das Layouten. Wenn man das Blatt durch vier teilt, soll in jedem Viertel, das genau gleiche drauf sein und trotzdem ein gutes Gesamtbild ergeben.
Das war eine Herausforderung, die Spaß gemacht hat. Das Thema habe ich aus dem Grund gewählt da Trump zu der Zeit sehr viel in den Medien war und ich etwas Aktuelles zum Zeitgeist gestalten wollte.
Die Elemente die auf allen Vierteln sichtbar sein sollten waren:
1) Das Thema: The Biggest Ass
2) Das Objekt: Donald Trump
3) Das Bildzeichen: Pfirsich: Arsch
4) Das Wort: The Biggest
5) Ein kurzer Text: Unter Donald Trump ist das politisch Inkorrekte, Absurde, Lächerliche, Falsche und das Wahnwitzige Alltag. Aber man darf nicht aufhören geschockt zu sein, man darf nicht aufhören sich immer und immer wieder vor Augen zu führen, was sich momentan im Weißen Haus abspielt. Denn wenn der Skandal Normalität wird ist er kein Skandal mehr und je weniger dieses Fehlverhalten die Menschen beschäftigt, desto weniger wird darüber gesprochen und irgendwann, wenn es einfach hingenommen wird, ist das Skandalöse plötzlich akzeptabel. Plötzlich scheint Rassismus, Sexismus, und das Leugnen wissenschaftlicher Tatsachen, wieder ok und das ist nicht ok! Und die eigene verlorene Wahl nicht zu akzeptieren ist schon gar nicht ok!

The following poster was an exercise in layout. If you divide the sheet by 4, each quarter should have exactly the same thing on it and still give a good overall picture.
This was a challenge, a challengen that was a lot of fun too. I chose the theme because Trump was in the media a lot at the time and I wanted to create something current to the zeitgeist.
The elements that should be visible on all quarters are:
1) The theme: The Biggest Ass
2) The object: Donald Trump
3) The symbol: Peach: Ass
4) The word: The Biggest
5) A short text: Under Donald Trump, the politically incorrect, the absurd, the ridiculous, the wrong, and the delusional are all part of everyday life. But you can't stop being shocked, you can't stop thinking about what is going on in the White House. Because when the scandal becomes normality it is no longer a scandal and the less this misconduct occupies people's minds, the less it is talked about and at some point, when it is simply accepted, the scandalous is suddenly acceptable. Suddenly racism, sexism, and the lowness of scientific facts, seems ok again- and that is not ok! And not to accept the own lost election is not ok at all!
