2022 schrieb ich eine Diplomarbeit über das Thema „die Wirkung von Bildern im Editorial Design“. Diese Arbeit habe ich im Rahmen meiner Ausbildung, dem Abendkolleg an der Ortweinschule, für Grafik- und Kommunikationsdesign absolviert. In folgender Arbeit geht es um die Bedeutung von Bildern generell und konkret im Editorial Design. Es wurde folgende Forschungsfrage gestellt:
„Was ist der optimale Einsatz von Fotografie und Bildauswahl im Editorial Design?“.
Mich persönlich interessiert sowohl Fotografie als auch ED sehr und fand es daher ein passendes Thema. In meiner Arbeit sind auch Fotos, die von mir geschossen wurden. Die folgenden Seiten wurden selbstständig recherchiert und geschrieben, sowie designt. Ich habe mich dazu entschieden, auch mit Buntpapier zu arbeiten. Die Seiten, die zwischen den bunten Blättern liegen, wurden von mir entwickelt und designt, passend zum Thema des Kapitels. An manchen Stellen wird das Buch auch interaktiv und der Betrachter kann z.b. aus einem Kuvert einen Brief nehmen und ihn lesen.

In 2022, I wrote a thesis on the topic of "the effect of images in editorial design". I had to complete this work as part of my training, the evening course at the Ortweinschule, for graphic and communication design. The following paper is about the importance and significance of images in general and in editorial design. The following research question was posed "What is the optimal use of photography and image selection in editorial design". Personally, I am very interested in both photography and ED, so I thought it was a fitting topic. In my work there are also photos that were taken by me. The following pages were independently researched and written as well as designed. I decided to work with colored paper as well. The pages that lie between the colored sheets were developed and designed by me, matching the theme of the chapter. At some points, the book is also interactive and the viewer can, for example, take a letter from an envelope and read it.
